Description
LeMieux Vector Control stirrups for show jumping
The LeMieux Vector Control is an option for riders who prefer a flat footplate and a secure feel over a fence. The Black/Aluminium model combines a 0° tread with embedded steel grip pins, an offset stirrup eye and a hinged outer arm.
What stands out
- Flat, grippy tread: the cross-track surface and steel pins are designed to help keep your boot in place.
- Offset eye: the stirrup hangs at an outward angle, making it easier to find if you lose it.
- Hinged release arm: its two-stage mechanism is designed to resist opening during normal riding and release under sideways pressure in some falls.
Fit and safety
Check the fit with your riding boots before buying. LeMieux recommends at least 10 mm of space on each side of the widest part of the boot. No quick-release stirrup can guarantee that the arm will open in every fall; inspect the mechanism regularly and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
