Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us when you contact us, subscribe to emails, create an account, place an order, book coaching or leave a comment or review. Depending on what you do, this may include your name, email address, phone number, location, billing and shipping addresses, account details, messages and order details. Newsletter forms may ask for your first name, email address and location.
When you use the site, we may also receive your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and information stored through cookies or similar technologies. Comments and reviews may be visible to other visitors if published.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide coaching or customer support.
- To process orders, deliver products or digital content, manage accounts, handle refunds and keep transaction records.
- To send newsletters or marketing updates when you have signed up or where otherwise permitted. You can unsubscribe using a link in our emails.
- To understand site use, improve content and services, measure advertising and help protect the site against misuse or fraud.
- To meet applicable accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
Orders and payments
Our store uses WooCommerce. It may use cookies to remember your basket and collect order information such as the items purchased, contact details, billing and shipping details, and order status. Authorised store administrators can access this information to fulfil orders and support customers.
PayPal Standard is an active payment option. If you choose it, you are redirected to PayPal to enter payment information. PayPal receives information needed to process the payment, such as the order total and billing details. We receive payment and order status; full payment card details entered with PayPal are handled by PayPal.
Email, analytics and advertising services
We use Mailchimp for email subscriptions and store-related email features. The Mailchimp for WooCommerce integration may keep an email address and basket contents on our server for up to 30 days so a basket can be restored. We also use Google Analytics to understand visits and Meta Pixel to measure advertising activity. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and process information under their own privacy policies.
Pages may contain embedded videos or links to services such as YouTube and Facebook. Those services can collect information when you interact with their content.
Cookies
Essential cookies support the basket, checkout and account functions. Analytics and advertising technologies help us understand visits and measure advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store from working properly.
Sharing and international processing
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the site and provide our services, including our hosting provider, WooCommerce-related services, PayPal, Mailchimp, Google and Meta. Some providers may process information in countries other than your own. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide services, resolve issues and meet legal or accounting requirements. We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Email subscription information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, subject to records we must retain. The Mailchimp for WooCommerce basket record described above may be kept for up to 30 days.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to information we must retain for legal or legitimate business reasons. You can also withdraw from marketing emails at any time. Email dave@clear-round-training.com with your request.
