Well, I don’t know about you, but anything John Whitaker manufactures and puts his name to gets my attention. And these spurs are no different. They certainly are not cheap plastic spurs. Mainly because they’re actually made of nylon, which makes them a lot stronger, flexible, and generally way more hard-wearing. They’re super light, so you don’t even feel as though you’re wearing them. The best thing about them being quite flexible; is that they bend to the shape of your foot, so they fit perfectly! The spurs are quite gentle, so they’re well suited to sensitive or hot horses. I like using them when I’m riding young horses, they’re soft, but you just have that little bit extra if you need it.
