Best stirrups for jumping

Best stirrups for jumping are often down to personal preference. Stirrups have come a long way since the old stainless steel stirrups with the rubber insteps that weighed almost as much as your saddle. These days stirrups are far more high-tech. They’re super lightweight and provide a serious grip for your foot. Many of them even offer shock absorption to save your knees and ankles from wear and tear.

Sure, some of them aren’t cheap, but they could almost last you a lifetime. If you’re on a tight budget there are some that are also lightweight, offer great grip, and are long-lasting. They won’t cost you an arm and a leg, but may not be as flashy as some other brands.

So these are my favorites. Some brands you may already know, and some may be new to you. However, they’re all top reputable brands that have been in the industry for decades.

I have reviewed each one individually so just click on the image of the stirrup to read the review. And then make your own mind up to which one is best for you.

Don’t forget, the art of riding is being able to keep the horse between you and the ground, lol. Stirrup irons play a key role in you being able to do just that.

So take your time, and go through all the reviews carefully before you make your choice.
